1.5x

Taxi fees a flat charge of $3. Then the overall fare is

1.5x + 3

Since  “y” stands for complete fare for “x” variety of miles, we’ve

y = 1.5x + 3

Therefore, the equation “y = 1.5x + 3” represents the given state of affairs.
