From A3/KA2 to AYA/KYA Multicomponent Coupling Reactions with Terminal Ynamides as Alkyne Surrogates – A Direct, Inexperienced Path to γ-Amino-Ynamides


The copper-zeolite catalysed three-component coupling response between an aldehyde or a ketone, a terminal ynamide and an amine is reported. The strategy, dubbed AYA (i.e. Aldehyde-Ynamide-Amine) and KYA (i.e. Ketone-Ynamide-Amine), allows the easy one-pot synthesis of γ-amino-ynamides from easy beginning supplies and with a broad practical group tolerance. Furthermore, AYA/KYA processes are carried out at room temperature below solvent-free situations or in ethyl acetate as inexperienced solvent within the presence of a copper-based easy-to-recover/-remove catalyst, at low loading (3 mol%), making these artificial strategies totally inexperienced.
